Hector Prazedo told NBC 7/39 the incident took place last Tuesday afternoon at the Carl's Jr. on Rancho Santa Fe Road in San Marcos
Prazedo said he was cleaning the drive-through when a car pulled in with a female driver. The woman's dog jumped out of the car's rear passenger window and bit him, Prazedo said.
He said the driver got out of the car and asked him if he was alright. Prazedo said he told the woman he had been bit, and that's when she drove off.
The incident was caught on surveillance cameras.
Prazedo received medical attention but said he wants to contact the dog's owner to find out about the dog's immunization history.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the manager of the fast-food restaurant.
